The War on Drugs have shared a new song, “Thinking of a Place.” It was previously revealed that the band would be issuing the song on vinyl as a 12" single on April 22 for Record Store Day. Listen to the 11-minute track below. The group recently teased a snippet of new music in a video; their last album, Lost in the Dream, was released in 2014. “Thinking of a Place” marks the band’s first new piece of music since the release of that album. In 2016, they contributed a Grateful Dead cover to a massive compilation alongside the National, Courtney Barnett, and more.
