Chris Cornell Memorialized at Seattle Sound Garden Sculpture

It was announced earlier today that Chris Cornell, the frontman of Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog, had died on May 17 at the age of 52, in what has been confirmed to be a suicide. Since the news broke, many of Cornell’s fellow musicians and collaborators have spoken out, mourning him and paying their respects. Fans in Cornell’s hometown of Seattle have flocked to the Sound Garden, a musical sculpture park from which the band takes its name, to leave flowers and memorialize the singer, as CoS points out.
