This Saturday, April 22, Explosions in the Sky will perform at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Pitchfork is excited to announce that we will stream the concert live via our homepage, on our YouTube channel, and Facebook. The stream begins at 9:15 p.m. Eastern. Below, check out the band’s new music video for “The Ecstatics,” directed by Hayley Morris. Explosions in the Sky are currently on tour through the end of April. They released their last album The Wilderness in 2016.
The show comes as part of our new Pitchfork Live series, which is set to stream concerts around the country throughout the year. Previous installments have included shows from Sigur Rós, Future Islands, Run the Jewels, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
