Jack White has returned with a new song, “Battle Cry,” as Spin points out. Listen to it below. The mostly instrumental track—his first song since 2014’s Lazaretto, appeared unheralded on streaming services overnight. Pitchfork has contacted White’s representatives for more information. It follows his career-spanning compilation Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016, which was preceded by his first ever entirely acoustic tour.
