Spoil me - I'm a DJ and I'm cute!
Gorillaz have announced a European tour behind new album Humanz. Find the dates, which run through November and into early December, below. The news follows the group’s secret London show in March, where they debuted a host of material from the record, as well as the announcement of Demon Dayz, their own festival in Margate. As with the London show, special guests “from the stellar roll call of Gorillaz’ family of featured artists” are promised at the UK shows. (The album features Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown, De La Soul, Pusha T, Kali Uchis, Kelela, Vince Staples, Jehnny Beth of Savages, D.R.A.M., Popcaan, and many more.)
In recent weeks, the band hosted a “global listening party” for the new album—via their augmented reality app—plus pop-up listening events leading up to the release, in which fans could visit one of three “Spirit Houses.”
